| Abstract: | Orchomenella crenala is recorded for the first time from the Irish Sea. Some authors have previously questioned the validity of this taxon due to its morphological similarity with Orchomenella nana and have placed it in the synonymy of O. nana. The question of its validity is resolved by the re-description and comparison of both species. |
