| Abstract: | Sophrosyne robertsoni was recorded from the west coast of Ireland. This is the first record of the species from outside Scottish waters. Previous authors have commented on the similarity of this species to Sophrosyne hispana and suggested that they may be conspecific. Here both species are re-described and their status determined. |
